EU Cohesion Policy (especially its territorial instruments) and spatial planning have a lot in common, even though they tend to exist in ‘parallel worlds’. In our new paper, co-written with Karel Maier and Jan Kabrhel, we attempt to examine where these two ‘worlds’ meet and how to make these encounters more fruitful. We use the Czech case study to this aim, building on ESPON Programme COMPASS project spin-off on cross-fertilisation between spatial planning and Cohesion Policy. You can read the paper here:
