And we’re back to teaching again. This academic year I play a new role of the coordinator for the Planning Complex Cities graduation studio as part of MSc Urbanism at my Faculty. Planning Complex Cities graduations build upon our Department’s expertise in spatial development, spatial planning, territorial governance, and citizen participation. In a nutshell, the studio focuses on planning as a means to address disparities and conflicts arising from the distribution of spatial resources across communities and territories. Today we presented the studio to 2nd year MSc Urbanism students who choose from among several graduation studios. It was great to see the students again and very exciting to begin coordinating the studio, which brings together not only students but also a host of researchers, teachers, alumni, and experts.
