Lecture on circular cities at EUROREG – University of Warsaw

I was delighted to present some of our research on circular cities and regions at the University of Warsaw’s EUROREG institute. I collaborated numerous times with EUROREG, but this was a first opportunity to deliver a lecture to its researchers and students. Great debate ensued. That said, I really need to work on my Polish. Having worked exclusively outside of Poland form the start of my academic career, I seriously lack words sometimes in my native language. And translations of concepts like Circular Economy or governance to Polish is a major challenge. I am sure many international researchers will recognise the problem… It was great to see that the concept of CE resonates in Polish cities and regions, while being approached with a healthy critical perspective by the academics at EUROREG.
